Here is a list of ideas and resources you can use to advocate in your local untits against Proposition 2. Please remember that you do not have to advocate. Work with your board, school leadership, and membership to decide if your local PTA will actively advocate against Proposition 2 or choose to remain silent.
It is always okay to advocate for your personal position on this ballot issue, but you cannot use your board position to advocate for a position different from the council position (Utah PTA Ethics/Conflict of Interest Policy).

Thursday, September 15th at 7:00PM at Canyon View Junior High (hosted by the Orem Council PTA)
Tuesday, October 4th at 7:00PM at Timpanogos High School (hosted by the Timpanogos Council PTA, featuring Gary Seastrand)
Tuesday, October 11th at 7:00PM at Lakeridge Junior High School (hosted by the Mountain View Council PTA, featuring Gary Seastrand)
Tuesday, October 18th at 7:30PM at Orem High School (hosted by the Orem Council PTA, featuring Gary Seastrand)
Thursday, October 28th at 7:00PM at Orem Junior High (hosted by the Timpanogos Council) - THIS PRESENTATION WILL BE IN SPANISH FOR OUR SPANISH-SPEAKING FAMILIES
