Family

Maria was born in Villa Maria, Masaka district. She is the seventh born in a family of ten. She enjoyed love and support from her elder brothers and sisters. Married to a Professor of economics, John, who unfortunately passed on in September 2010. She is a mother of two: Sylvia, a social worker with a Child welfare NGO, and married to Raymond, a civil Engineer. Isaac, a journalist, working with the Parliament of Uganda as an Information officer.
