General Biblical Research/Bible Study Sites
This is a free online version of Logos Bible Software. You can create an account and receive additional free resources.
This is a good place to start your study, but since most of the content is not peer reviewed the sources do not count a quality sources for academic research. The best source on the site is the Net Bible which contains thousands of Bible study notes. These notes address important issues that a Bible student needs to know about the biblical text. I highly recommend it. It is peer reviewed. You can download a free copy from the site.
This site gives you access to several good Bible study resources. The main drawback, as with many free online resources, is that they contain older works.
You can access online portions of published books with Google Scholar. The main drawback is that the entire book is not available due to copyright law. Use Google Scholar to access the content of a hardcopy book that you cannot access at your local library.
Good resource for photos and geography of the land of Israel.
The Center for the Study of New Testament Manuscripts
Consult this site for the latest on New Testament manuscripts such as the number of witnesses available, the latest discovery, the reliability of the NT, etc.
