Ph.D. students

Each year, I am willing to consider taking on a new Ph.D. student, but my key focus is on students who have demonstrated the highest levels of academic excellence and who are interested in working in areas of research related to my interests. My focus with Ph.D. students is publishing in elite journals, and placement in research-oriented institutions. I am particularly interested in those who have solid statistics and technology acumen who are interested in organizational, behavioral, analytics, or design-science research methodologies in topics such as the following:

• security / privacy
• online deviance, cyber ethics, and cyberbullying
• online trust / distrust / ambivalence
• organizational IT governance
• Human-computer interaction, gamification, communication, and social media, especially as they relate to the above topics
