Welcome! Join us to start learning and sharing your collection.
We are now focusing only on the Facebook Platform, mostly because that is what has been the overwhelming choice of members. The other sites have been left up just in case...but will probably be subsumed as the platform providers frown on non-participation. The sites have been left active to prevent the takeover by unaffiliated owners.
Some members are only enrolled in one location, and some of us have been chatting for decades. The main discussion sits at Facebook. However you feel about Mark Z, if you have privacy concerns, you can set up a way that your "normal" browsing data isn't mined by Facebook.
Do you know friends who collect Princess Diana dolls? They can join, too, and that's wonderful.
While Facebook has an "invite" feature, your friend will still need to answer 3 joining questions and agree to the rules. They will be asked to post an intro. If they don't respond to the questions or leave some blank, their request will be rejected and their account blocked. Once blocked, they won't be able to join without extraordinary intervention.
YahooGroups is no more. RIP.
