PG Special Olympics Mourns the Loss of One of Its Own

Our Prince George County Special Olympics Family lost a very special lady yesterday. Monica Simmons (one of our Special Olympics bowling athletes) passed away yesterday at the age of 41. Monica was an avid bowler and, as you can see from this photo, she was a huge Washington Redskins fan! Monica joined our Prince George County Special Olympics family in September 2015. Prior to joining our family, she participated in the Special Olympics programs in Petersburg and Colonial Heights, Virginia. We will miss Monica greatly!
