Tynker runs both in the browser on desktops, laptops, and Chromebooks as well as on iPads and Android tablets via apps. You must sign in on the browser version and teachers can set up classes and students can sign in with their Google accounts to join the classes. There are both free teacher accounts and paid school and district subscriptions. There are free and paid versions of the app as well and the free version will allow creative block-based coding. If you sign in on the app version, it will sync projects started on the web version and vice-versa. This means students could start a project on a Chromebook at school and finish it at home on another device.
