The Petaluma Riding and Driving Club (PRDC) was originally founded in 1939 by a small group of dedicated horse enthusiasts. In 2014, we proudly celebrated our 75th anniversary, making PRDC one of the oldest and most established equestrian clubs in the area.
Located on 10 acres of beautiful rural Petaluma, our facility offers something for everyone. Amenities include two lighted arenas, a round pen, ranch sorting pens, and a full-size clubhouse complete with a commercial kitchen.
PRDC hosts a wide variety of activities year-round, including playdays, cattle events, and trail challenges. During the summer months, members enjoy exclusive weekday evening cattle practice sessions featuring roping, cutting, ranch sorting, and beginner-friendly introductions to working cattle. In addition, we offer monthly public events such as ranch sorting and penning shows, cattle clinics, and playdays.
Our Jr. and Sr. Drill Teams proudly represent PRDC, performing at rodeos, community events, and competitions throughout the year.
Beyond horses, PRDC is known for its strong sense of community—and great food! Our annual Crab Feed in January is a favorite tradition, while summer brings fun-filled BBQ gatherings under the warm evening skies. Our junior members also host a popular pasta feed and cake auction each year, showcasing both their talents and community spirit.
There's always something fun happening at PRDC! Check our calendar of events.
