Coast Broadcasting was established in 1988 and is the only locally owned fully-independent traditional media serving the central Oregon coast with Florence’s only licensed radio stations KCST 106.9 FM and KCFM 1250 AM, 104.1 FM & 103.1 FM in Mapleton.

Florence Area Humane Society
The Florence Area Humane Society, located in Florence, Oregon is made up of volunteers dedicated to assisting homeless or abused companion animals in our area. We also seek to educate people about such animal-related issues as cruelty and pet overpopulation.
Florence Area Community Coalition
The purpose of the Florence Area Community Coalition (FACC) is to promote the most effective planning and delivery of human services in Western Lane County, which includes Florence, Dunes City, Mapleton, Deadwood, Swisshome, Westlake and the surrounding areas.

Helping Hands Coalition
Helping Hands is an all-volunteer community organization dedicated to providing services, food, clothing, and a daytime center for the homeless and others with unmet needs. Our small but friendly faciltiy provides warmth, comfort, and basic services for those in our community.
Florence Food Share
Florence Food Share is a private, non-profit, emergency food box pantry. Our mission is to alleviate hunger in West Lane County, Oregon. We accomplish this by providing emergency food to low income, disabled, senior, unemployed and underemployed individuals in the areas of Florence, Mapleton, Swisshome, and Dunes City/Westlake areas of coastal Oregon.
Siuslaw Outreach Services
SOS is a 501 c (3) non-profit organization started in 1986. SOS provides a wide variety of free services in the Florence and west Lane County area. Our mission is to assist individuals and families to lead safe, dignified, and secure lives.
