July 17, 2021 will be the eleventh annual Power of Florence! The Power of Florence is a day dedicated to giving back, reaching out, helping others and making a difference in our community. Just think of how many amazing things could be done to help those in need and to beautify our community parks, schools and neighborhoods if we each just volunteered.

We all know there are people in need in our community. They may even be our neighbors, friends, or family. What can you do in a day?

Donate food to the Florence Food Share or Humane Society. Give clothes or household goods to Siuslaw Outreach Services. Raise money through a fundraiser like a garage sale, car wash, or a fun run. Even the smallest donation to a worthy charity helps!

BE COUNTED! Our goal is to get as many people as possible in the Florence community to pledge a day of service. We hope you will do what you can to make a difference.
