July 17, 2021 will be the eleventh annual Power of Florence. In 2012, the Florence City Council dedicated the third Saturday in July every year to be known as the Power of Florence, a day dedicated to volunteering, giving back, and making a difference. Join us and be counted as we have fun and work together, making Florence an even better place to live.

The 11th annual Power of Florence will be on Saturday, July 17, 2021. Power of Florence 2018 was a huge success, hard working, generous people with big hearts made a huge difference by working together. More than 350 people worked on 45 events around town, with a total of over 2,000 volunteer hours. Almost 2,000 pounds of food was donated for Florence Food Share and for the Florence Area Humane Society.
In 11 years, this community has raised more than $42,000 for non-profits, have had 79 service projects, and collected more than 14,000 pounds of food for our Florence Food Share and for the Humane Society during the Power of Florence! What an amazing community to live in!
