1. Video: Ball Lost or Out of Bounds
Etiquette:
1. If you must have a cell phone on the course, keep it on MUTE and only use in emergencies.
2. Make no distracting sounds or movements while someone is preparing to take a shot.

Etiquette:
1. A blowup hole is almost inevitable in golf. Accept it and move on.
2. Do not throw your golf clubs.
3. Depending on the event, when appropriate, pick up when you reach net double bogey.
3. Video: Playing a Provisional Ball
Etiquette:
1. Announce, to the players in your group, that you are playing a provisional ball.
2. The average time for a round of golf at Penn Oaks should be 3½ hours.
3. The maximum time for a round of golf at Penn Oaks should be 4 hours.

Etiquette:
1. Do not drive a golf cart in any roped-off areas.
2. Follow all cart directional signs.
3. Obey all cart rules.

Etiquette:
1. The nearest point of relief may be different for right- vs. left-handed players.
2. Always show courtesy, respect and consideration for other golfers.

Etiquette:
1. Get a rake before going into the bunker.
2. Enter a bunker at a shallow point of the bunker.
3. Rake all areas you have disturbed within a bunker.
4. After exiting a bunker, knock sand off the bottom of your shoes; do not walk on a green with sand on the bottom of your shoes.
7. Video: Playing the course as you find it
Etiquette:
1. Replace divots, then fill in with divot/sand mix.
2. Follow daily cart rules – if holes are “Cart Path Only”, keep your cart on the cart path.
3. Never drive on the fairway of a par 3 hole. At Penn Oaks, carts must stay on the cart path on all Par 3 holes.
4. If you are on a “cart path only” hole and not sure which club you need, take 3 clubs with you – the one you think you might need, one more and one less.

Etiquette:
1. Do not hit your ball until the group in front of you is out of your range.
2. Yell “FORE” when your ball is headed toward other players.

Etiquette:
1. Repair ball marks on greens, yours and at least one more
2. Keep your shadow away from other players’ line of sight, especially on the green.
3. If a player has been asked to move their mark on the green for another person to putt, remind them to replace it after the other person’s putt.
4. Do not walk on the line of someone else’s putt.

Etiquette:
1. Play “Ready Golf” whenever possible.
2. Be ready to play when it is your turn.
3. Do not stand around talking and waiting to get ready.
4. Be aware of your surroundings. Keep up with the group in front of you. If you fall behind and are holding up the group behind you, let them play through.

1. When finished playing a hole, drive to the next tee before entering your score on the scorecard.
2. Pick up and return lost clubs.
12. Video: Moveable Obstructions
Etiquette:
1. Red and Yellow stakes may be removed and replaced after the shot is taken.
2. White stakes (Out of Bounds) may never be removed.
