2024 Facilitator of the Year: Robin Didlake
The Virginia Project Learning Tree facilitator-of-the-year facilitated not one but three workshops in 2024. Since being trained in August 2023, she has been instrumental in reengaging the facilitator network by co-facilitating with new & veteran facilitators & has championed Project Learning Tree in her outreach, teacher professional developments, grant deliverables & grant proposals. Finally, this facilitator bravely pioneered a joint workshop with Project WILD, bringing both projects to early childhood teachers & informal educators in the Northern Neck.
Robin has also worked with Essex, Middlesex & Caroline County school divisions in the development of their environmental literacy plans. View this January 23rd NOAA webinar to hear about their work!
Robin is a retired high school science teacher. She & her husband Lance are forest landowners, & she loves sharing PLT & other nature education activities with her grandchildren.
Congratulations, Robin, & thank you for all the support!
