About
Lesley Newman is the state coordinator for Project Learning Tree at the Virginia Department of Forestry. She has been an educator for twenty years. Lesley is also a nature writer & volunteers with her local master naturalist chapter, & is a member of the Virginia Association for Environmental Education (VAEE). She is currently a candidate for VAEE certification. In her free time, she loves spending time in nature with her family & engaging with storytelling in all its forms.
