A multimedia and virtual exhibition on crops diversity and history (2015-2016) - Funded by Agropolis Fondation (France)
Project leader: AC Thuilllet
Scientists involved from our team : AC Thuilllet, JL Pham
The project aims to create a multimedia virtual exhibition. This exhibition will be hosted on a web space, with duplication on USB key for a possible distribution without internet connection. The exhibition is based on an existing poster exhibition on agro-biodiversity entitled "Men and plants: cultivate diversity", presenting for a series of temperate and tropical crops, synthetic information to a broad audience (origin, growing area, research questions).
This project will allow rich content, more modernity and more interactivity than the poster exhibition, by integrating games, quizzes, interactive maps, videos of researchers, sound illustration, slideshows, and external links leading to more information. It will also allow a wider dissemination to targeted audiences (broad audience and schools) through a greater accessibility. Management and updating of the multimedia exhibition will finally be possible by drafting a manual of the web platform.
