The purpose of the letter is to submit a funding application to the Ball Brothers Foundation. The Ball Brother Foundation is a long time supporter of Muncie Habitat for Humanity since both organization objectives include community development within the city of Muncie and Delaware County.

Muncie Habitat for Humanity was founded in 1986 and incorporated the same year.

Provide a decent home for low income households in Muncie and Delaware County.

The need to low income affordable housing

The need for affordable housing within the community of Muncie is directly addressed by the proposed project.
This project is part of Muncie Habitat For Humanity plan to serve 17 families who will benefit of access to home ownership or of improved houses.
8. What does your organization propose to do about this need?
Through its House Rehab program, Greater Muncie, Habitat For Humanity is going to rehabilitate the house, object of the current request for the benefit of the family partner. The family has been approved by Habitat For Humanity board of directors to purchase the rehabilitated home.
The family is also attending education courses and is also engaged in volunteer work at Habitat construction sites that count as a sweat equity contribution for the house down payment.
9. What outcome does your organization anticipate after the first year of funding?
The partner family will move to the rehabilitated house.
