My main topics of research intrests are combinatorial and complex algebraic geometry, especially in the context of the bounded negativity conjecture and the freeness of curves in algebraic surfaces.

From 1.03.2021, I am a university professor at the Faculty of Mathematics at the University of the National Education Commission in Krakow.

From 1.10.2019 to 28.02.2021, I held an assistant professor position at the Pedagogical University of Cracow.

From 1.11.2017 to 30.09.2019, I held an assistant professor position at Institute of Mathematics Polish Academy of Sciences.

From 1.10.2014 to 31.08.2018, I was working at Pedagogical University of Cracow (actually I was permanently on leave).

From 1.10.2016 to 31.10.2017, I held a post-doc position at Leibniz Universitat Hannover in Institut fur Algebraische Geometrie run by prof. Klaus Hulek and prof. Matthias Schuett.

From 1.10.2015 to 30.09.2016, I held a post-doc position at Johannes Gutenberg Universitat in Mainz in research group run by prof. Manfred Lehn. My fellowship was supported by SFB/TR 45.

From 1.10.2014 to 31.01.2015, I was a member of the research group "Algebraische Geometrie" in Marburg, which is run by prof. dr Thomas Bauer and Dr David Schmitz. My internship in Marburg was supported by Deutsche Akademischer Austausch Dienst in Bonn.
