The view from Pikes Barn is as good as any in Fowey. The house is high up the harbourside, from where it is not obstructed by other buildings in any direction - so you can see right out to sea to the south, Polruan and the harbour ahead of you, and both wooded branches of the Fowey river to the north. The view constantly changes, as interesting boats of all sizes come and go.
No single camera shot really does it justice, but you wake up to this view from the bedroom window.
Looking out to sea in a Cornish storm, and a yacht in fairer conditions.
