Pikes Barn was built just before the First World War, a little after St Fimbarrus Terrace which it abuts (pictured below). The house has been in our family for nearly forty years.
The whole house has been renovated over the past couple of years, and we are now letting it so that others can enjoy its wonderful views.
In doing up the house, we have tried wherever possible to retain its original character and our memories of it - both early twentieth century when it was built, and the sixties and seventies decor introduced by the first owners from our family.
We hope that the result feels more like a family home than some holiday let properties; while everything is clean and comfortable, we've tried not to replace things just because they're old!
