Course Plan
Examinations
Midterm Exam Date and time to be announced. Chapters 1-5 will be included.
Final Exam Date and time to be announced. Chapters 1-11 will be included.
Course Instructions
Evaluation
%35 Midterm, % 15 Laboratory, % 50 Final
Examinations
There are one midterm and one final examination. The examinations have classical, essay type problems. No formula page is allowed or provided and calculators, smart phones etc. are not allowed during the exams.
Exam papers can be inspected by the students after the marks are announced, during a announced date and time only. Late objections will not be accepted
Make-up exams
Make-up exams will be given to eligible students for excuses such as sickness, injury, serious emergency etc. Evidence is required to take the make-up exam, such as a signed memorandum from the doctor's office. Please notify your instructor immediately upon any such incidents.
Re-take exam
There will be a re-take exam after the final examination for those whose end of term mark is FF. Retake exam will include all the topics covered in the syllabus, and re-take exam mark will replace the final exam mark.
Laboratory
Laboratory work usually includes several experiments. Absence in any of the experiments usually means failing the course, since this can be a very large ratio considering the number of experiments.
Attandance
Repeating students are required to retake all the experiments again, even if they obtained a satisfactory mark previously.
Laboratory sessions will be held at the Hayati Yazıcı Building, Z-71 and Z-73.
