The purpose of this lab is to model the experimental data analysis using the best fit line.
For this lab we do not do any measurements. Thus, you need to generate random numbers.
Go to Random Integer Generator and generate about 16 or 18 random numbers in two columns. The numbers should be between -10 and 10, as shown in Figure 1.

After filling out the initial form, hit "Get Numbers". The program will return two columns of random integers.
Create a table with those numbers. Plot the data points in the animation below.
When all points are on the plane, select "Curve" in the right hand menu (Figure 2). The two boxes below will show up.
a) The linear fit is marked by default. Observe the line and make notes:
X² =
r² =
observations on the residuals: ...
b) Choose "Quadratic" in the right hand menu. Take similar notes.
c) Chose "Cubic" in the right hand menu. Take similar notes.

To your judgement, which one is the best fit line?
How do the chi square and residuals inform your choice?
What can you say about the relationship presented on the graph?
Type a lab report in which you present the notes taken during that exercise. Paste screenshots of the Random Integer Generator and the three best fit lines. Answer the posed questions.
