Beginning Photo
Course description
This class is an introduction to photography. Students will learn how to
use the manual settings on a 35mm camera (shutter speed and aperture),
how to develop film through chemical process, and digital scanning, editing,
& printing.

Grading Policy
Assignments are graded on a 0-4 point rubric and are assigned weight according to time spent. Grades are cumulative over the semester. Projects must be turned in at a critique. Projects maybe resubmitted for a higher grade once adequate work has been done on the project.
Grading:
60% Major Projects/Labs
20% Negatives Scanned, Work Uploaded, Notebook Check
10% Critique, Class Participation, Class Work
10% Artistic Integrity
