沙坪呂派獅藝之源
文化藝術、薪火相傳、承先啟後、繼往開來。鶴山獅藝源創於鼻祖馮公庚長宗師,
開宗自今, 後傳脈流多支。至今廣見鶴山獅藝源流之脈統,各脈支流各有异系。 我派開枝於師祖呂公新堯宗師(鶴山沙坪共和豐塘村),呂公新堯宗師藝承於馮公庚長宗師入室弟子李怡生(鶴山桃源祿洞人氏)門下。呂公新堯宗師早年在新加坡傳藝,開枝散葉,授徒於何公啟成師祖,何公師祖再傳 門徒陳紹箕師公。
何公啟成師祖仙逝之前訓言:但望我等後輩能發揚光大我脈正統獅藝。陳紹箕師公為發揚先輩 的傳承功德及飲水思源,為了紀念呂公宗師及承何公師祖的心願,為尋根追溯本源,源遠流長然若遵 循,往後本脈開枝認宗,且以呂公新堯師祖為開宗之祖,以何公啟成師祖為第一代傳人。吾等因念師 祖呂公新堯宗師,藝承於鶴山沙坪之源,且不想混鶴山獅藝之總名,而不釐清道統,為了標明立萬, 故此取名沙坪(呂派)獅藝源流,祈望我脈後輩記以此號為正。
年於癸未年十二月十二日(2004年1月3日)沙坪獅藝中心,在新加坡慶祝成立典禮。並以 【沙聚獅城傳技藝、坪集寰宇揚名聲】為成立的宗旨,秉承前師精粹,啟後往開相傳。更以修養(忠、正、毅、勇、智、誠、和、禮)八德為基,習操(擂、探、中、半、下、直、上、擦、登、平、 七)十八路正統鼓典,並以口訣(一探、二山、五展、八起獅、登山、下平陽、七節盤丹練)為本。 後傳學者技藝品德兼修,兩者缺一不得其實,祈望本門正統獅藝一脈相傳發揚光大。
2006年,沙坪同門於馬來西亞首府吉隆坡成立國際沙坪(呂派)獅藝同門聯誼會。聯誼會的 宗旨為發揚沙坪(呂派)獅藝及團結遍布世界各地的獅藝同門。同年也在新加坡舉辦了第一屆國際沙 坪獅藝兢技大會,深獲海內外同門的鼎力配合与支持。沙坪獅藝同門,每年春祭期間也都會齊聚新加坡,祭拜第二代掌門人何公啟成師祖,除了緬懷前師傳藝的艱辛,也鞭策着獅藝傳承的任重道遠。
2007年5月,由第三代掌門人陳紹箕師公率領為數一百五十 人的祭祖團,從世界各地匯集香港,共同出發到中國鶴山市沙坪鎮丰塘村,祭拜并追封呂公新堯宗師為沙坪(呂派)獅藝源流開宗之祖, 頓時造成了轟動。每逢春節期間,更歡聚馬來西亞首府吉隆坡,共慶春節,聯絡情誼,團結同門。國際沙坪(呂派)獅藝聯誼會在 2011年8月3日,於紐西蘭正式獲得註冊為合法社團。 2014年世界沙坪呂派獅藝總會,代替了國際沙坪獅藝聯誼會。
2016年世界沙坪呂派獅藝總會在新加坡舉辦沙坪呂派獅藝第一次獅藝研習會,同時國內外的徒弟徒孫為慶祝掌門人陳紹基七十大壽。2017年世界沙坪呂派獅藝總會在中國鶴山舉辦沙坪呂派第二次獅藝研習會,同時自來海內外團體匯聚鶴山市沙坪豐塘村為開山祖師呂公新堯宗師舉行祭祖活動。2019年世界沙坪呂派獅藝總會在台灣舉辦獅藝進階研習會。多年來, 沙坪獅藝傳到新加坡、馬來西亞、印尼、菲律賓、中國、中國香港、中國澳門、台灣、澳洲、紐西蘭、美國、加拿大、法國,巴西,內外比賽中頗有斬獲。其中有屢獲國際獅王榮銜的佼佼者, 也有在國際比賽中嶄露頭角的新生力軍。不少同門團體更在各自國內比賽中,佳績頻傳,屢次在傳統 南獅項目及自選南獅高樁比賽中榮獲最高榮榮譽,實力不容乎視。同門團體除了踊躍參加比賽及觀摩賽,也積极推動并參与慈善活動,回饋社會,造福人群。
祈望我脈後輩除了在技術上努力創新外,也要謹記保留正統沙坪(呂派)獅藝的使命,保持團結,排除萬難。我脈獅藝的傳承不離其宗,只要秉持正确的信念,持之以,沙坪(呂派)獅藝在吾 等的共同努力下,必能再攀高峰,共創輝煌,發揚光大,淵遠流長。
Introduction of Sar Ping Lion Dance Art
The Art of Heshan Lion Dance was founded by the late Master Feng Geng Zhang of Heshan, Guangdong in China. Since the late Master Feng, the Heshan style of lion dancing has multipliedinto styles of different variations.
Sar Ping (Lu Style) Lion Dance was started by our late Great Grand Master Lu Xin Yao, who was a kneeling disciple of the late Master Lee Yi Sheng. Late Mater Lee was a disciple of late founding Master of Heshan Lion Dance Art. Great Grandmaster Lu was in Singapore in 1940’s, Sar Ping Lion Dance Art was imparted to Great Grandmaster Ho Kai Sheng, which has since passed on to Grandmaster Chan Siew Kee in 1980.
Great Grandmaster Ho has reiterated to preserve and promote the art of Sar Ping Lion Dance before he passed on in 1991. In view of complexity of origin Sar Ping Lion Dance Art, we have conferred posthumous honors to Great Grandmaster Lu as the founding master. Great Grandmaster Ho as our second generation master and Grandmaster Chan Siew Kee as our third generation and current leader. Sar Ping (Lu Style) Lion Dance Art will use to reflect our unique in art of lion dance.
In 2004, Sar Ping Lion Dance Center was founded by Grandmaster Chan Siew Kee and fellow disciples in Singapore. The objective of this center is to preserve and promote the art of Sar Ping Lion Dance. Basics of Sar Ping Lion Art are Lei, Tan,
Zhong, Ban, Xia, Zhi, Shang, Ca, Deng, Ping, Qi the eighteen drumming pattern bundled with Yi Tan, Er Ca Shan, Wu Zhan, Ba Qi Shi, Deng Shan, Xia Ping Yang, Qi Jie Ban Dan Lian, different steps and movement. Lion Dancing would be imperfect without instilling virtues to the character of the lion dancer. Technical know how and character building thus goes hand in hand when we are engaging ourselves in lion dance activities.
Confederation of Sar Ping Lion Dance was founded by Grandmaster Chan Siew Kee and fellow disciples in 2006 at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It has similar objectives of the Sar Ping Lion Dance Center in Singapore but it unifies all affiliated teams of Sar Ping Lion Dance Art around the world. In the same year, an inaugural International Sar Ping Lion Dance Festival was held in Singapore. Spring prayer to our late Great Grandmaster Ho was a yearly event since 2004 to show our respect and appreciation towards their diligent effort and perseverance towards the art of Sar Ping Lion Dance.
A strong contingent of 150 members led by Grandmaster Chan Siew Kee gathered all around the world in Hong Kong in May 2007 and set off to Sar Ping (Sha Ping ) in He Shan, Guang Dong in China to offer their respect and prayer to our late founder Great Grandmaster Lu Xin Yao. Yearly Chinese New Year gatherings where held in Kuala Lumpur to facilitate the bonding of all Sar Ping affiliated teams from different regions. On August 3, 2011 International Sar Ping Confederation was officially registered as a international association in New Zealand . In 2014 World Sar Ping Lion Dance Federation was formed and had replace the International Sar Ping Confederation.
In 2016 World Sar Ping Lion Dance Federation organized a Sar Ping Lion Dance Study Seminar and also Grandmaster Chan Siew Kee’s disciples and grand disciples from overseas came celebrate his 70th birthday. 2017 World Sar Ping Lion Dance Federation conduct the second Sar Ping Lion Dance Study Seminar in Heshan, China, at the same time organized an ancestral prayer and respect to Great Grandmaster Lu Xin Yao in Sha Ping, China. In 2019 World Sar Ping Lion Dance Federation conduct a series of developmental seminars for its members in Taiwan.
The Sar Ping style have spread to Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, China, Hong Kong, Macau, New Zealand, USA, Canada, France, Brazil, Chile, Australia,, Cambodia, Mauritius, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam and many more. Our affiliated teams have engaged themselves in various competitions locally and internationally. They have managed to emerge as champion in many traditional and high pole categories despite facing intense competition from many good teams. On the other hand, charity work has not taken a back seat. It has always been positioned as a part of our lion dance culture of sharing and giving to the community we live in.
Despite of adapting continual creativity in innovation movement for high pole lion dance competition, we should never forget to preserve our niche area of traditional Sar Ping Lion Dance Art that was passed down from many late masters and current leaders. As long as we adhere to our basic principles to preserve and to promote the art of Sar Ping Lion Dance, stay focus and united, our form shall flourish in many more years to come.
