First grade packets are available for pick up. Mrs. Poe's and Mrs. Wolfe's students have folders in the filing cabinet. Mrs. Allen's class has work in the bins to the left of the filing cabinet on the ground. When searching for your child's work please be mindful. We have to stop in and rearrange the folders daily due to others being reckless while getting work. The work is in alphabetical order by teacher. Mrs. Poe's folders are first and then Mrs. Wolfe's folders.
Folders contain work for this week and next week.
Students will need to complete any previous think central tests as well as lesson 9 reading test this week, lesson 10 reading test next week and chapter 4 math test next week.
Please be sure to turn in completed work as soon as possible. Students will return to school with only 1 week left of the second 9 weeks. Any work turned in after January 25th (the end of the 9 weeks) will not be accepted.
Remember to contact your child’s teacher if you have any questions or concerns.
Thank you,
First Grade Team
Good morning!
My packets will be ready to pick up after 11 AM today. If you have siblings in another class, make sure their packet is ready to pick up too before you come & get the packets! Some won't be ready until the end of the day. Also, please turn in any remaining work. All work from the previous weeks is due today. This week’s work will be due January 11th when the next packet is available for pick up!
I was planning on doing a zoom today, but I hit a deer on my way to the school, so I have a few things I need to take care of today & I'm not sure when I would be able to do one, so I am canceling it for today.
Throughout the week, students need to complete “How Chipmunk Got His Stripes” story & grammar companions.
Today, students need to read “How Chipmunk Got His Stripes” & do the vocabulary pages. Here is a resource for the story this week.
