Hello! Here is an outlook for this week!
We will be starting a new story "Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type" this week. The test will be on next week Monday, February 1st for group A students and Tuesday, February 2nd for group B students. The spelling test will be those days also. The booklets and spelling activities will be due on test day as well. Students will be tested on vocabulary, comprehension of the story, phonics (base words with ending -s/-es), & grammar (compound sentences).
The vocabulary words are: understand, gathered, impatient, impossible, believe, problem, demand, furious.
The HFWs are: another, far, grow, hard, heard, kind, light, more, some, to.
The spelling words are: hens, eggs, ducks, bikes, boxes, wishes, dresses, names, bells, stamps, dishes, grapes, jets, frogs. The bonus words are: stitches & fences.
We are going to be finishing Chapter 3 of Math. I am not doing a test for this chapter since the majority was done at home. We will be starting chapter 4 this week, which is addition & subtraction again but this time we are going to be regrouping.

Complete on January 26th/27th (Group A) January 27th/28th (Group B): Vocabulary Meaning Match, Vocabulary Think it Over, Phonics Base Words & Endings -s/-es, Chapter 4 Opener (Show What You Know Page & Vocabulary Page), Addition/Subtraction Review Page
Complete on January 29th (Group A) February 1 (Group B): Grammar - Compound Sentences, Addition/Subtraction Practice

Monday is the last day I will take any work from remote learning from before we went back to in person. The end of the 9 weeks is Monday & report cards will be going out next week.
