Abstract

Designing activities that involve analyzing datasets across multiple topics can be challenging in an introductory statistics course. In this talk, attendees will take home a mini-project featuring an AI-generated dataset that can be used in the classroom. The project includes analysis of both qualitative and quantitative data, construction of confidence intervals, hypothesis testing for one and two population means, goodness-of-fit tests, and linear regression modeling. Attendees will also have a hands-on opportunity to use a simple R cell to carry out these analyses.
