I am often being asked these days what I think of CrossFit, HIIT, BootCamps, Running, and other intense forms of exercise. It seems there is a perception that such a high intensity of exercise is required for good results.
My response is always "What are you trying to achieve?" If you like exercising at a high intensity then by all means find a way to fit it in.
Otherwise, for the large majority of us something much more modest is going to be far more effective and healthy. Please remember that a sensible structured programme of exercise, suitable for your body, fitness level, and goals is the best. Remember rest and recovery are just as important as the exercise itself.
