Good article on Stuff this morning for those in a desk job! It includes some good advice for helping prevent aches and pains.
In particular, 2 things I noted from this:
* Check your posture; and
* Out of work, stay as fit, healthy and active as you can
If you spend a lot of time in one position, such as working at a desk, then make sure you engage in an appropriate programme of exercise, including resistance training.
A qualified professional Personal Trainer can help you establish a programme suitable for you and your circumstances. It doesn't have to be working out in a gym.
