ABOUT US

Penrith RSL Rugby aims to provide pathways for Rugby in the Penrith-Nepean region for boys and girls in the traditional 15 a side format and Rugby 7s.

We were created to compliment and cooperate with the reinstated (2011) Penrith Junior District. We wanted to build a solid foundation for the Senior club to benefit via a straight forward pathway for aspiring players, coaches, administrators and volunteers.

Penrith RSL Rugby wears the district badge proudly for all junior players to aspire to wear. We are committed to the long term development of players and acknowledge that their non-selection in Junior Representative teams should not deter them from this goal as players mature and develop at different rates.

We will be successful in our mission if;

• We have u6s choosing Saturday Minis Rugby over Soccer and League.
• We create, with the district, a centralised Penrith District Saturday Minis competition.
• We facilitate with stakeholders a Saturday and Sunday junior pathway.
• We have Juniors transitioning to Grade with the Penrith Emus.
• We have Juniors playing for the Waratahs and Wallabies via the Penrith Emus.
