Your character should be dressed in a fashion appropriate for the Victorian era. Since the game does not take place in a specified year, clothes from any point from the 1830s to the 1900s are appropriate. Steampunk fashion can be worn if it resembles Victorian fashion - if in doubt, please ask.
While we will endeavour to hold events at venues with heating, you should be prepared for the eccentricities of British weather, especially if you intend to venture outside.
Melee weapons must be LARP-suitable replicas, and be of a style appropriate for the time period. No high fantasy or medieval weapons!
Firearms must be Nerf® style blasters, and must be unmodified other than cosmetic modifications. Blasters should bear some resemblance to the derringers, revolvers and pepperbox pistols in use during the Victorian era. As such, the following Nerf® blasters can be used if appropriately painted:
Zombie Strike Doublestrike
Zombie Strike Hammershot
Rebelle Sweet Revenge
Rebelle Charmed Dauntless
Rebelle Sneak Attacker
Jolt EX-1
Other blasters will be considered on a case-by-case basis, and may be added to this list. Blasters from other brands that are compatible with Nerf® Elite darts will also be considered.
You are free to bring props to aid in the roleplay of skills such as medicine and surgery. These should not include any sharp items such as needles and blades.
In general, any items in in-game areas should be period-appropriate in appearance. E.g. drinks in glass bottles are fine, but drinks in cans should be decanted into a bottle or glass and the can concealed.
Items required for health and mobility, such as medicine packets, glasses, hearing aids and walking canes are exempt from this rule.
