Global feature integration when we judge some object, we not only look one local properties, but also we can integrate local features to look in overall vision. Then we can observe when we change the local features, global features will change or not.
To explain our experiment, please imagine a scenario, on the grasslands there are many antelopes running fast. We know that the antelopes are running in a direction, but the hair on the body of antelopes may move in another direction. Despite the noise on the body of antelopes, we still know the overall antelopes run in the very direction.
Our experiment follow this idea, we use simple visual stimulus such us Gabor and Blob.
