RDA Festival Letter to Educators
CHOREOGRAPHY
Guest choreography is often set on dates outside of regularly scheduled rehearsal day to accommodate the guest choreographers’ schedules.
Casting is determined by the choreographer and subject to change. The cast may not include all C/A/T dancers; any dancers not cast are expected to attend all rehearsals and to understudy.

COMPANY EXPECTATIONS
Be respectful to yourself and others.
Arrive on time for all classes and rehearsals.
Submit all planned absences and early dismissals at least 2 weeks in advance for approval with form provided.
C/A/T dancers are expected to attend PYDF, Arts Gala, and RDA/NE Festival.
Each choreographer will audition the dancers for their pieces to bring their vision to fruition. If a dancer is not cast in the piece, they are expected to attend and participate in all rehearsals as an understudy.
Understudy all roles/parts.
Adhere to the Dress Code.
Be prepared for all rehearsals/classes: shoes, choreography, etc.
Abide by PCBT’s Policies on the website.
Any reference on the internet (i.e. Instagram, Facebook, blogging, etc.) to Providence Creek Ballet Theater’s name or initials (PCBT), its artistic or administrative staff or fellow students and families in a derogatory manner could be cause for suspension or expulsion from PCBT.
Be a positive role model in behavior, language, and application of technique.
Take care of your instrument: Warm up properly. Eat well. Make healthy food choices. Stay well hydrated. Rest. Take care of your body and injuries.
Be a team player and help facilitate the PCBT community atmosphere.
DO your very best! Take with you the education and creative opportunities being offered.
Approach each class/day as a new day with a positive attitude!
