After decades of drought, famine, plague, insurrection and war, two thirds of the human race would have perished. Infrastructure would have collapsed and governments as we know them would cease to exist. Those who survive would be forced to withdraw into warring city states.
Just as in most areas of the world today that are embroiled in conflict, war and insurrection, the streets would belong only to small children because they appear to pose no threat.
