I regularly teach undergraduate and graduate classes on Spanish and Portuguese linguistics, including seminars on syntactic and semantic change and on lexical semantics (with a focus on these languages). In addition, I sometimes teach the course "What's in a word?" offered as part of the Intensive Freshmen Seminars (IFS) at Indiana University. Please email me if you are considering taking these courses and would like to know more.
This summer (2023) I co-taught the class "Topics in the Diachrony of the Functional Lexicon" with Chiara Gianollo (Univ. of Bologna) at the LSA Summer Institute, UMass Amherst.
I have also taught a semester-long first-year seminar "What happened to Latin?" (taught at UNC-Chapel Hill in the Fall of 2014) - check out the blog created by the students in this course.
