Biography

Parthajit Mohapatra received his B. E. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from National Institute of Science and Technology (NIST), Berhampur, India in 2003 and the M. Tech. degree in Electronic System and Communication Engineering from National Institute of Technology (NIT), Rourkela, India in 2006. He obtained his Ph. D. degree in Electrical Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India in 2015. The title of his thesis was Fundamental Limits of Communication in Interference Limited Environments.

He worked as an associate software engineer at eRevMax Private Ltd from June - October, 2006 and as a Lecturer in C. V. Raman College of Engineering, Bhubaneswar, India from January 2007 - December 2008. Currently, he is working as a postdoctoral research fellow at Wireless Security and Communication (WSC) Lab at Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), Singapore.

His research interests are primarily in the area of multiuser information theory, physical layer secrecy and wireless communication.
