Present or accounted for until captured at Kelly's Ford, Va. Nov. 7th 1863. Confined at Cape Lookout, Maryland, Nov., 11th., 1863. Paroled at Point Lookout, Maryland on or about Sept. 11th., 1864, and transferred to Varina, Va. where he was received on Sept. 22nd. 1864. for exchange. Soloman Snider, son of Philip and Sarah Hearn Snider, was born 12 June 1835.He served as a private in the Confederate Army during the Civil War. Records show he enlisted in Wake Co., on 12 September 1862. He was present and accounted for through June 1864 and was paroled at Greensboro on 8 May 1865.
