Editing of the International Volume "20 Χρόνια Τ.Ξ.Γ.Μ.Δ. Επετειακός Τόμος/20 Years D.F.L.T.I. Festschrift", Diavlos Publications, Athens 2006.
This Festschrift was published in 2016 by Diavlos Publications to celebrate the 20 years of the Department of Foreign Languages, Translation and Interpreting. It includes articles by renowned colleagues from Translation Departments in Greece and abroad.
The Festschrift is divided in three sections: a) Translation-Language-Literature, b) Culture, c) International Relations-Politics.
The "Translation" section of the volume is trying to develop a fruitful academic conversation on traslation and translation studies issues. The other two sections comprise articles relating to other scientific subjects taught in the Department, required for the interdisciplinary training of future translators.
The aim of the Festschrift is to show the interdisciplinary nature of Translation and to open communication channels with translation scholars in Greece and abroad.
