January Pack Meeting

St. Joseph’s Parish Center, 145 Holliston Street, Medway

The pack will hold a Pinewood Derby car cutting clinic as part of our January pack meeting. Scouts will have a chance to design their cars and have them cut right at the meeting. We will have  templates, design ideas, and the Pinewood Derby rules available for Scouts.

In an effort to keep Scouts from waiting around, we will cut cars by den.

Schedule

5:15-5:45- Bears

5:45-6:15- Tigers

6:15-6:30- Lions

6:30-6:45- Pack meeting

6:45-7:15- Wolves

7:15-7:45- Webelos/AOLs

Pinewood Derby cars will be given to Scouts at this event. A car is included in Scout dues. Additional cars will be available for purchase for around $7 (cash or Venmo) and can be designed/cut at the meeting. In March, Scouts will race by den, but we do also have open races for siblings and parents. 

We will pause the cutting at 6:30pm for our regular pack meeting. We will do a flag ceremony and hand out achievements. We will also have information about summer camp.

Car cutting is optional but please come for the pack meeting.

Siblings can cut together. If you can’t make your time, show up when you can.
