Bobcat Family Kickoff

For decades the Bobcat rank and ceremony was the "initiation" for new Cub Scouts. Recently the Cub Scout program has been modified to incorporate some elements of the Bobcat rank into each grade-related rank throughout the program instead of just once at the start of a child's Cub Scouting adventure. But, Pack 73 wants to keep some tradition and incorporate new families into the unit at the beginning of the school year, so we're now having a kickoff get together.

We'll have a bit of a welcome and initiation ceremony and enjoy a potluck meal together, get to know each other and help new families get oriented to the Cub Scout program at Pack 73.
