Our Pack relies on committed adult volunteers to make it run! There are numerous ways to help, from one-off opportunities (e.g., organizing a museum overnight or fishing trip) to ongoing leadership positions such as Den Leader and Assistant Den Leader. To register as an adult leader with Pack 30, after consulting with the Cubmaster, please do the following:
Contact the Cubmaster (info@pack30.com) for an application packet, and fill it out and return it with either a physical or an electronic signature.
Complete the online Youth Protection Training. To access it, log into your my.scouting.org account with the username and password you used to register your child, and click on "Menu" at the upper left and then "My Training." Please either make a PDF of the completion certificate and email it to info@pack30.com, or print it and submit a hard copy.
Fill out a Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) form as required by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. This needs to be submitted in hard copy with an original signature, so please hand it to a Pack leader in person, or email info@pack30.com to request a mailing address.
Submit a copy of your driver's license or other government-issued photo identification. This can be an electronic copy emailed to info@pack30.com, or a hard copy submitted along with the CORI form.
Once these steps are completed, we'll be able to approve your application as an adult leader. Thank you for your service to the Cub Scouts of Pack 30!
