About Pack 30

Pack 30 is Watertown, MA's Cub Scout organization, chartered by Post 1105 of the VFW and meets at the Belmont–Watertown United Methodist Church. Our program is for elementary school-aged children (grades K–5), regardless of gender. Though we meet in Watertown, you do not need to be a resident to participate, and we have some members from neighboring communities.

Pack 30 believes that there is a place in Cub Scouts for every family who wishes to participate and subscribes to the core principles of Scouting as outlined in the Scout Oath and Law. In keeping with the Boy Scouts of America Membership Standards and the BSA's Policy on Family Scouting, we welcome youth and adult leaders without regard to gender identity, race, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or citizenship. Please see our Frequently Asked Questions regarding the move to a mixed-gender program starting in 2018. If you have any questions about the Pack or would like to come check us out, please write to info@pack30.com.

Please check our activities page for the 202425 schedule. We meet regularly on Thursday evenings, 6:00–7:00 p.m., at the United Methodist Church, 80 Mt. Auburn St. Pack meetings are generally the 3rd or 4th Thursday of the month; Dens (groups of Scouts in a single grade) meet can in the same place on the other Thursdays, though some choose to meet at other locations or times that work for the group based on fluctuating sports and activity schedules. We hold a number of other fun activities throughout the year, from campouts and fishing trips to museum overnights and the Pinewood Derby. Come check us out!
