Baptism

Requesting the Sacrament of Baptism for a child involves a serious obligation and a faith commitment on the part of both parents.  In order to prepare the parents for this task, they will be requested to attend a Baptismal Preparation Class prior to the baptism.  To register, call the parish at 564-2312.  Parents are encouraged to begin preparation prior to the birth of their child.

Marriage

The decision to get married is a big step.  An even bigger step, is the decision to get married in the Church.  Your decision is a source of joy for the whole Christian community.  If you would like to get married at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, please contact Fr. Lou at (912-564-2312 or nov45@aol.com). He will arrange to meet with you and discuss plans and pre-matrimony sessions.
