Appearances

As part of the Presentation Night, OOCC present appearance caps to players who reach milestones

Geoff Wilde takes credit for a huge amount of work that he carried out to make this possible. This has been further developed thanks to the work of David Phillips. 

The latest players to reach milestones were Geoff Wilde (200), Peter Halton (100) and Dominic Grant (100) who were presented with their caps on 1/11/19. 

Adrian Antell reached the milestone of 200 caps in 2021 with award being deferred as no other player has reached a landmark since. 

Malcolm Gregg made his 500th OOCC appearance in the first game of 2018 and was presented with a special shirt to mark this special landmark. 

22 players have been presented with caps for reaching the following milestones:-

500 appearances - Malcolm Gregg

400 appearances - Tegwyn Hughes, John Graham, Dag Griffiths

300 appearances - Dave Merrick, John Thornton, Mike Cooper

200 appearances - Gerry Dunn, Don Stripp,  Geoff Wilde, Adrian Antell

100 appearances - Thomas Irving, Chris Strefford, Bob Rogers, Brian Dean, Jason Smith, Ian Davidson, Alan Clare,  Tim Stevenson, Alan Lacey, Peter Halton. Dominic Grant

Alfie Smart was the 20th player to reach a cap milestone. As he has sadly passed away, a Spirit of Cricket Trophy will be presented annually in his honour. 

Appearances will be updated at the end of each season, with caps being awarded at the Presentation Evening for any player passing a milestone.
