Presentation Evening

Ormskirk Occasionals hold an Annual Presentation Evening to celebrate the high points (and low points) of the previous season. The details of our most recent event can be found below, with details of previous evenings in PDF form at the foot of the page.

Presentation Night 2022

The Annual Presentation Evening for 2022 took place at Briars Hall on 7th October 2022. Many 'Occasionals' were able to attend the event which comprised a meal, speeches and presentations for the season.

Malcolm reviewed the season's exploits with lots of highs and one or two lows! We welcomed several newcomers to the team who have joined during 2022. 

Coops informed us all about the annual tour in 2023 with a planned trip to Cumbria. 

We made the eighth presentation of the Alf Smart Spirit of Cricket Award in memory of the much loved Alfie Smart. The award is presented to someone linked to OOCC who demonstrates the true spirit of cricket. The previous winners decided to give it to James Rowlands for his wonderful work as groundsman.
