Ormskirk Occasionals Cricket Club

Formed at the beginning of the 1990s, the Ormskirk Occasionals have become something of a local institution.

The team are mostly aged over 40 and 50 (+) and play social cricket on Tuesday evenings throughout the summer months, often at Halsall CC. 

Regular Sunday matches are also played home and away.

Since 1997, tours have been arranged over the Whitsun bank holiday weekend and In the same year the Annual Presentation Evening (October) was inaugurated.

In 2002 the Occasionals adopted their Latin motto - Toties Quoties (as often as occasion demands)
