29. September 2020. At the 2020 (virtual) annual meeting of the German Economic Association the Committee for Organizational Economics hosted a "Virtual Lunch Break". A number of our members as well as interested junior and senior colleagues discussed topics in organizational economics, the junior job market and challenges of digital teaching among other things.

September 2017, 17:00-19:00 Uhr, den Workshop "Ökonomische Beratungen im Gespräch", der NachwuchswissenschaftlerInnen und ökonomischen Beratung ein Forum zu gegenseitigen Kennenlernen bieten will. / The Committee for Organizational Economics will host the workshop "Economic Consultancies: A Dialog" at the annual meeting of the German Economic Association on September 3, 2017, 17:00-19:00. The workshop aims at providing a forum where junior researcher and economic consultancies get to know each other.

Wie der Verein für Socialpolitik in seinem letzten Newsletter berichtet, hat der Organisationsökonomische Ausschuss unter allen 24 Ausschüssen des Vereins mit knapp 25% den zweithöchsten Frauenanteil, und wir arbeiten daran, ihn noch weiter zu erhöhen. / As the German Economic Association reports in its most recent newsletter, among all of its 24 subcommittees, at 25% the Committee for Organizational Economics has the second-highest share of female members - a share we hope to increase even more in the future.

Der Organisationsökonomische Ausschuss gratuliert zweien der Begründer unseres Feldes - Oliver Hart und Bengt Holmström - zum Gewinn des Nobelpreises für Wirtschaftswissenschaften 2016 "für ihre Beiträge zur Vertragstheorie". Oliver Hart (zweiter von rechts) war der Festredner bei der konstituierenden Sitzung unsers Ausschusses im September 2016. / The Committee for Organizational Economics congratulates two of the founding fathers of the field - Oliver Hart and Bengt Holmstrom - on winning the Nobel Prize in Economics "for their contributions to contract theory". Oliver Hart (second to right) delivered the keynote lecture at our Committee's constitutive meeting in September 2016.
