The Engineering Applications Lab provided hands-on experience in applying theoretical models to real-world experimental systems. Through two major projects, I developed and validated mathematical models for predicting velocity and performance in pneumatic and vacuum-based systems. My role focused heavily on coding and experimental setup, where I implemented MATLAB simulations to refine theoretical predictions and designed test environments to collect high-accuracy data. This experience strengthened my skills in experimental design, uncertainty quantification, data analysis, and technical reporting, while reinforcing the importance of bridging theoretical engineering principles with practical applications.
