Palatyne -
She loves the wind and the trees, even if the waters beckon her even more. She found a tree with a bough where she could sit, looking on the ever changing waters, while the wind gently ruffled her hair and sways the bough where she sit.
Sometimes I wonder if she shouldn't be more careful when sitting on the bough...
"What do you mean by that, sir, and why do you flush that much, is the heat perhaps the problem?"
But when evening come the beckoning from the water becomes stronger, but she wanted to linger in the cool breeze...
A mermaid in a tree?
That is a rare sight indeed...
But the cool dark waters, that is where she needs to go, but she hesitates. She waits for the moon and the stars to appear before heading out into the deep dark waters...
The water is cool, the twilight is near, she lingers and raise her voice and sing. A song of joy, of sorrow, of the cool wind, the swaying boughs of the trees, the birds and all life that enjoys the sun, and of the cool deep where she will go, guided by the moon and the stars, the place she yearned for so many years.
"It is time..."
