Bruce Days Treadle Mod

A project in pictures.

Mr Day gave me permission to post the photos of his modified 1891 domestic treadle with an Industrial Singer 31-15 riding on top. Not a lot of words here. Note: he used bicycle inner tubes to to line the vee - blocks for additional traction for the leather belts.

The whole rig is to the rear of the frame with the driven block in line with the band wheel and the driving block to the right of the frame. So simple if you look at it right .. grin ..
