2014 Rechartering and Dues

The Troop 280 Charter is up for renewal. For 2014 we respectfully request a payment of $75 for each Scout and $24 for each adult leader. This payment covers the Boy Scouts of America membership fee, liability insurance, Great Southwest Council training activities, maintenance of BSA camps and other facilities, website maintenance, as well as troop expenses such as awards and the maintenance of troop-owned equipment. If the dues structure is a burden, please speak with the Scoutmaster or Committee Chair privately. Our policy is that nobody should be denied the opportunity to participate in Scouting because of a lack of resources. If possible, we ask for payment by Dec 1st. Thank you!
